Before starting my career as a professional Home Inspector, Idaniel_ricard followed my father’s footsteps, and started working in the construction industry in 1987. After acquiring a college degree in carpentry and mentored by my father, my career started in the professional trades, building commercial concrete high-rise buildings and structures. I then moved on to be self-employed as a licensed residential renovation contractor, licensed floor specialist and window installer.

After successfully completing the Algonquin College home inspection courses in 2006, I have since started this company and on a daily basis, been performing residential property inspections. I was also certified as an Energy Advisor in 2007 by Ridge Energy Consultants. Hence, I have amassed a considerable of considerable amount of knowledge and hands on experience with all types of systems, and their relationships with homes. Currently a proud active member of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI), and Association des Inspecteurs en Bâtiment du Québec (AIBQ).

With strict regulations for home inspector, we need constant training and self-teaching to maintain our skill set. So we invest hundreds of hours every year to improve ourselves and knowledge of the field. We are being recognized in the home inspection industry as leaders in educational awareness. I know how to focus on details while keeping an eye on the big picture.

You can trust me to inspect your home inside and out,  and to address issues such as:

  • Energy efficiency
  • Structure
  • Electrical
  • Asbestos
  • Mould
  • Radon
  • and more.

You can be assured that I will present my findings in a clear, concise, and easy to understand way.

So before you agree to purchase a home, get the facts and protect yourself from hidden costs and lurking problems.
